The associate dean for educational programs (ADEP), MSW program director, registrar, and director of field education review academic records after each semester. This team makes a determination about whether the student meets the standard for academic probation. If the records do not reflect that academic probation is warranted but concerns are identified, they may elect to send students a letter of concern (noting potential academic issues), or recommend a Student Success meeting (see volume 1, section 14.05 Policy Governing Student Success Meetings). Serious academic difficulties noted in volume 1, section 14.04 may be referred to the Academic Concerns Committee.
