Summary: The Academic Concerns Committee may review students in academic difficulty, especially if accompanied by matters related to academic and professional misconduct. The following situations are examples of situations which may be referred to the Academic Concerns Committee.

The Academic Concerns Committee may review students in academic difficulty, especially if accompanied by matters related to academic and professional misconduct. The following situations are examples of situations which may be referred to the Academic Concerns Committee.

a. Students who fail to file a plan or do not have approved plans to remove their probationary status.

b. Full-time students who have not successfully removed probation after one term, part time students who have not successfully removed probation after two semesters, or students who fail to make progress.

c. Students who are terminated from two field placements.

d. Students who decline or are declined from two viable field placement options or are not making progress in field.
