Summary: Nothing in this policy prevents the school from employing temporary measures that are necessary to protect the safety or health of individuals or to maintain conditions compatible with the educational process. Similarly, this policy does not prevent the school from taking necessary administrative actions.

Nothing in this policy prevents the school from employing temporary measures that are necessary to protect the safety or health of individuals or to maintain conditions compatible with the educational process. Similarly, this policy does not prevent the school from taking necessary administrative actions.

Any alleged or actual violations of professional conduct standards should be reported to the associate dean for educational programs. The associate dean for educational programs may refer the matter to the Academic Concerns Committee (see volume 1, section 13.01 Reporting Suspected Infractions of the Student Code of Academic and Professional Conduct ).

Students who are found responsible for professional misconduct are subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal from the School of Social Work, revocation of degree or any other sanction deemed appropriate to redress the violation. Examples of possible sanctions are listed in volume 1, section 13.06 Potential Outcomes of the Academic Concerns Committee.
